Is Mootion free to use?

Yes, all users have free forever plan with 200 credits renewed each month. You can generate and enjoy more with paid plans.

What is the difference between "Generate from Prompt" and "Use my Content"?

  • Generate from prompt lets you start from simple and rough ideas, just type in your thoughts and AI will handle the rest to create stories for you;
  • If you have scripts or content already, Use my content helps you organize the story and AI will follow your content to design and generate visuals and motions for final output.

How does Mootion generate videos?

Mootion leverages our advanced AI models(Text, Image, Video, 3D) together to create video content from scratch, so users tells the idea, and our AI crafts the cohesive and compelling stories for you.

What type of videos can I create on Mootion?

Though Mootion can practically generate videos covering any topic, ratio for all mainstream content platforms, we suggest some proven categories for your reference:

What prompt should I use on Mootion?

What is storyboard and scene?

A storyboard in Mootion illustrates all components for the whole story. You can edit and tweak your story in storyboard.

In Mootion, a storyboard is made of several scenes which can be edited in an intuitive and natural way(Add, Split, Merge, Delete).

One scene contains an image(video clips), corresponding narrations or dialogue.

What is pose reference when generating images?

A pose reference is a 3D pose generation environment which guides and controls how images are generated in one scene. You can use the interactive 3D space to pose your character, then AI will generate the image with precise pose inside.

Can I download videos created by Mootion?

100% Yes and more than that. You can download videos directly from our platform, and optionally the whole story - including scripts, images, video clips can be downloaed as .zip file for 3rd party editing and compositing.

Can I personalize my videos created by Mootion?

Absolutely! You can personalize your project, videos, styles and voiceovers. Our system automatically remembers and generates videos based on your preference.

  • Project - Aspect ratios, output languages, tones, visual styles
  • Setting - style of title, subtile, thumbnail, voiceover

Can we add music or SFX to the videos?

Absolutely! Mootion now supports adding background music to your videos! Don’t have to worry about copyright issues—our music is fun, catchy, and ready for commercial use, all just one click away. Plus, we continuously update our library with fresh new tracks to keep your content vibrant and engaging.

Can I preview videos before published?

Yes, you can preview and go back to the creation process if it doesn’t meet your standards.

How can I post videos on platforms like Tiktok, YouTube etc.?

Mootion generates all missing pieces for mainstream content platforms. You can simply copy the summary(description in YouTube), add generated hashtags with final videos, and one post done in a breeze.

When and why should I subscribe to Mootion?

200 credits are there for all users when signed up. You can find your plan in subscriptionsection.

Enjoy more credits (add more anytime) and premium features with paid plans.

How to cancel a subscription?

  1. Go to subscription.
  2. Click downgrade button on the free tier plan.

How do I change my payment method after subscribing?

Our billing services are handled through Stripe. Any billing or payments settings can be done in your Stripe environment, steps shown below:

  1. Log in to your stripe account;
  2. Change or delete your payments.

What should I do if my credit card has expired or I need to replace it?

Please update your credit card information directly through Stripe. You can do this by visiting the following link:https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/user

How many languages does Mootion support?

Currently, Mootion Storyteller supports Dutch, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Italian as output languages. We are continuously working on adding new languages, so stay tuned for updates!

Can I freely use the music in the AI Music Library? Will there be any copyright issues?

No need to worry—all the music in the AI Music Library is royalty-free and can be used without any copyright issues.

Can I use Mootion to create videos for my YouTube channel?

Absolutely! Mootion content is under the Creative Commons 4.0 (CC4) license, so you don't have to worry about copyright issues when sharing your videos on platforms like YouTube.

How can I get more credits?

There are several ways to earn more credits:

  1. Upgrade to a higher Mootion Pricing Plan (https://storyteller.mootion.com/workspace/plan.).
  2. Purchase additional credit packs.
  3. Refer friends to Mootion using your referral link to earn extra credits.

What is the Referral Program, and what are its benefits?

The Referral Program allows you to earn credits by referring new users. When someone signs up using your referral link, both you and the new user will receive 100 credits.

Can I use the Animate feature in Mootion for free plan?

Yes, you can use the Animate feature, but each use will consume 8 credits regardless of whether you're on a free or paid plan. However, by upgrading to a paid plan you'll unlock the ability to animate all scenes at once, giving you the freedom to take a coffee break while your animations come to life!

How do I edit the cover title?

We support an automatic line-break feature for cover titles. To format your title with line breaks, simply press Enter while typing. The generated video will display the cover title with the updated line-break format.

Will my generated videos have a watermark?

Once you upgrade to a paid plan, you will enjoy watermark-free videos! This allows you to share your creations without any branding restrictions.

Who can join the affiliate program?

Anyone who passionate about Mootion and eager to boost their income are all welcome to join this program!

How do I earn commission?

You earn a 20% commission for every new user who makes their first payment after signing up through your affiliate link. Please note that the cookies associated with your affiliate link have a 30-day validity period. This means the referred user must click your link and complete a purchase within 30 days for the referral to be recorded.

How to track the referred signup & subscription?

You will receive a unique affiliate link once your application is approved. You can track your referrals and their sign-ups through your dashboard.

Is there a minimum fee that I need to reach to get paid?

The minimum payout for Mootion affiliates is $20. Once your affiliate earnings reach this threshold, you will receive a payout on the 15th of each month, which will be sent to your PayPal account.

What payment methods does Mootion use to pay affiliates?

Mootion uses PayPal to process affiliate payouts. Make sure you have a valid PayPal account associated with your Mootion affiliate profile to receive your earnings.

How much commission will you earn?

In the first year, you will earn a 20% commission for every new subscribed user you successfully refer.

Can I advertise using my affiliate link?

Absolutely! However, you may not use your affiliate link in any paid media. This includes search engine ads, Facebook ads, or anything similar that would compete with Mootion’s marketing and cause confusion for potential customers. Abuse, gaming, and policy violations will result in having your account banned and any existing and future commissions forfeited.

Can I change my affiliate link?

No, affiliate links cannot be changed. Modifying your link will render any subsequent referrals associated with the updated URL invalid. Therefore, we strongly discourage making any changes to your affiliate link.
