Mootion is an AI-native 3D creation platform, on a mission to unlock creativity in the digital realm for everyone, transforming professional workflows into accessible, universal processes. Is commercial use supported? What’s licensing like?
Mootion grants a General Commercial License for all generated animations, allowing their use in commercial applications.
How many credits are consumed with each text-to-motion generation?
Generating text-to-motion consumes 2 credits per operation.
What should I do if I run out of credits? How can I purchase more credits?
To replenish your credits, please visit https://www.mootion.com/plan and choose a suitable paid plan. If you’re already a paying user and run out of credits within the month, you’ll need to wait until next month to receive new credits. Additional credit purchase options will be available soon.
I want to switch from monthly to annual billing. When will this change take effect?
Your new plan will take effect immediately.

The change will take effect after the current annual billing cycle ends.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can choose to downgrade to the free plan. Please note that the downgrade to the free plan will only take effect after the current billing cycle is completed.
Are there any advanced plans in the future?

How do I get started with Mootion Bot?

Can I use and render my own 3D character model?
The characters provided are already pre-defined right now. If you want to apply generated animations to your own models, you may need to retarget and render them in 3D software. The ability to upload your own models is on our product roadmap and will be available soon.
Can I integrate the generated animations into my own models?
Absolutely. Once you input the command and generate the content, we provide you with an FBX file that can be used in various 3D modeling software such as Blender, 3Ds Max, Maya, and more.
Can I make minor modifications to the generated animations or use a seed? Will this be supported in the future?
Currently, we don’t support editing generated animations within Discord. Support for seeds will be introduced in future updates. You can edit animations using the FBX file in 3D software, and we plan to offer more editing features in the upcoming months. Feel free to submit your requests in 💡｜feature-request.
What is the maximum duration of the generated animations?
Similar to traditional 3D animation design, the length of the animation depends on the input prompt. Animations can range from approximately 1 second to up to 50 seconds.
Can I generate specific dance styles or sports movements? How should I input this prompt?
Absolutely. Mootion has optimized our AI Model for dance so you can generate dance moves, elegant or energetic. To specify a dance style, add a space in the prompt and then input “–style dance.” For –style parameter, we only support dance currently, and will introduce other styles like combat, sports, anime, and more immediately!
Why do the videos of two animations have different durations?
The duration varies since the AI generates animations are based on the input prompt. So the lengths for the 2 preview videos may be different.
What do “inplace true” and “inplace false” mean?
“Inplace” affects the position of the character during the animation. “Inplace True” will fix the animation in one place, while “Inplace False” will allow the character to move as per the original animation, such as running along a path.
I’m new to 3D. How can I use Mootion for?
Please don’t worry about your level of 3D knowledge. You can use the generated content for social media, marketing, educational purposes, and more. It empowers you to express your ideas in a more engaging 3D world. Additionally, you can refer to examples in the 💙｜show-and-tell channel to better understand how to use Mootion effectively.
Can private generation be done?
Sure! Though adding the Mootion Bot to your own server is not currently supported, you can DM it to do private generation.
What is the ‘Creativity’ parameter? How is it used?
Creativity (cr) is an index which can enhance your creative space on Mootion. When inspiration is low, input a text prompt, set a creativity parameter between 0 and 1, and watch your generated content diverge in various degrees. No need to juggle multiple prompts—just one parameter is all you need for a creative exploration!
Easily tweak your creativity level from 0 to 1↔:
• Closer to 0 for a more focused output
• Crank it up to 1 for that wild and creative flair
